Each year for My Famicase Exhibition, I create a fake advertisement as a promotion for the “game's” release and my entry in the exhibit. For 2024, I wanted to create a complete artwork that recreated the experience of purchasing a real game—a love letter to my childhood memories of opening game boxes filled with manuals and posters.
In an era of hardware limitations, artwork played a huge
role in imagining worlds created in pixels.
This is my attempt at creating a game, its company and a universe that never physically existed, yet the universe/ world building is happening. More to come!
